Streets Alive promotes the street as a social space. Since 2001 we have been organising and promoting events and other activities in town centre, neighbourhood and residential streets which:
Enable people to enjoy streets without traffic for a day
Engage the public in travel options other than cars
Often using arts to engage people in creative ways
Use the street to build community spirit at the street level through street parties and other Meet My Street activities
